Zion Spring Baptist Church (in some records Zion Springs Baptist Church) is located at 528 41st Street North in North Avondale. In 1946 its address was listed as 4201 5th Court North. Adam Mixon is the pastor. Because of its participation in the Alabama Christian Movement for Human Rights it was recognized by the Birmingham Historical Society as a "movement church".
The church's building suffered an extensive fire on September 13, 2001, but the building was repaired and remained in the same location.
In 2022 it began hosting the weekly services of The Abbey, a congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama.
