The Birmingham City Hall is the primary governmental office building for the city of Birmingham. It is located at Linn Park and faces the park from across 20th Street North between Park Place and 8th Avenue North.
The City Hall building was constructed in 1956 for $4 million, which was paid for before the building opened without raising new taxes. The capital project was led by then-mayor Cooper Green.
