The 2023 Birmingham Stallions is a professional football team which represents Birmingham as one of eight teams in the United States Football League (USFL), which was launched in 2022 as a revival of the 1980s USFL.
For its second season, the USFL played all of its games in four "hub" cities, with the Stallions and the New Orleans Breakers hosted at Protective Stadium in Birmingham. The 2023 USFL championship game was played in Canton, Ohio.
Coaches
The Stallions are led for the second year by head coach Skip Holtz, who also serves as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
