The organization is dedicated to protecting and enhancing broadcasting and promoting the professional status of members. The Association also provides programs and services beneficial to the individual broadcaster and to members as a group.
The Alabama Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame recognizes broadcasters for their leadership, achievements, and contributions to the industry.
In 2023 the Alabama Press Association moved its offices into the same building.
