The 2023 Freedom Fest was a one-day festival, the second in-person "Freedom Fest" at 16th Street Baptist Church and Kelly Ingram Park following a 3-year hiatus for the COVID-19 pandemic. It was held on July 29, 2023 as part of the city's commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Birmingham Campaign and the 1963 church bombing.
