Birmingham Air Freight Inc., also doing business as Dixieland Express Inc. is a commercial freight handler located at 5335 Messer Airport Highway and 3608 Industrial Parkway off Pinson Valley Parkway near Tarrant.
The company was founded in 1976 by former Knoxville Air Cargo managers Dick and Anita Craig. Anita Craig has been sole owner of the business since her husband's death in 2001.
On February 5, 2023 the Birmingham Air Freight building on Messer Airport Highway was destroyed by fire.
