DeJarvis Leonard (born c. 1959 in Birmingham) is the East Central Region Engineer for the Alabama Department of Transportation, working from the department's regional office at 100 Corporate Parkway in Hoover's Meadow Brook Corporate Park.
Leonard grew up in Coosa County and graduated from Coosa County High School in 1977. He earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering technology at Alabama A&M University and a bachelor of science in civil engineering at Auburn University. He began working for the Alabama Department of Transportation while in college in 1979 and has spent his entire career there. He has experience as a project inspector and project engineer. He was promoted to Region Engineer for the former 4th Division, based in Alexander City, in 1999. After the department realigned its regional offices, he was made head of the current East Central Region beginning in January 2015.
