*Lee, can you create a template for Reservoirs of the Coosa River, based on the chart at the bottom of the page of the Lake Mitchell article?  I'd like it to look it a template before I add it to the Lay Lake article, plus it might tempt me to write the articles for the other reservoirs. ** How about one for the whole Coosa River?  It still needs many additions, but I don't know enough about the river and which features are in the Birmingham district to make them.  In addition to what is visible, there's a placeholder for tributaries. --Lkseitz 11:47, 20 January 2008 (PST)

*** Thanks!  I didn't think about the dams, that's a great idea.  I'll have to look at the maps again, but I think the only one out of the District will be Jordan Lake.  --Wheresdib 19:24, 20 January 2008 (PST)

Categories (Artintegrated)

In converting your articles from the Wikipedia format, you're now doing a better job of eliminating links that won't be found here at BhamWiki. However, please try to remember to update the categories at the bottom of the entry, too. Thanks. --Lkseitz 06:45, 11 January 2007 (PST)

I dont claim or even want to put up a perfect article. Reformatting for another system can be somewhat daunting. I normally leave that to the experts and I have no claims on that. On the other hand, my strong point BHWP is to add information. I seem to have plenty of that and I feel that that is of assistance. I will try to give you the most updated information that I have and correct to the best of my ability. Other people have excellent editing and article-building skills. I will do what I do best and you guys do what you do best. We should get along just fine. Sweet! Artsojourner 08:30, 11 January 2007 (PST)

Category:Death of brain cancer

  • I think "Category:Cancer deaths" is a better formulation than "Category:Deaths of cancer".. and I'm not sure that category will be so large that it needs to be subdivided. What's on your mind? --Dystopos 08:19, 16 January 2007 (PST)
    • Yes, that's a better name. Thanks. I'm writing an entry for Harold Ruttenberg, who died of brain cancer. A previous entry I wrote, Jack Farr, also died of this. I was simply guessing "Cancer deaths" could get to be a really, really big category and perhaps it should be subdivided. It's easier to do that up front that go back and break it down after the fact. But I guess that category will do for now. --Lkseitz 08:36, 16 January 2007 (PST)

Bear Bryant

Thanks for the help with the cleanup on Bear Bryant. I had it almost perfect and clicked the wrong button and lost all my changes. So I went back and re-copied it all from Wikipedia but had to rush through it to make it to a meeting I had to go to. Anyway, thanks as always for all you do. --Wheresdib 14:37, 26 January 2007 (PST)

You're welcome. I hate it when that happens. (You lose all your changes.) --Lkseitz 15:00, 26 January 2007 (PST)

Blizzard of 93

I think it must be some sort of milestone when we have articles I didn't even know we had. --Dystopos 14:05, 28 January 2007 (PST)

Hee, hee. Snuck one by you, did I? :-) Actually, I geared up and did a bunch of web surfing to research it, but when I got down to writing it, I seemed to lose my motiviation, resulting in a stub I never went back to. --Lkseitz 14:15, 28 January 2007 (PST)

Nehemiah's Quest

  • Thought you'd like to know that your article on Nehemiah's Quest is getting a lot of hits via Google. Thanks for giving us the scoop. --Dystopos 17:41, 26 March 2007 (PDT)
  • Well no wonder; we're Google's number one result for that search term. While the group's own site is much further down. How odd. And I wonder what's spurring those searches? Thanks for the tip. --Lkseitz 07:29, 27 March 2007 (PDT)

Temple Emanu-El

Thanks Lee. I went back and saw that it was too much "personal" and was planning to revise today.

I have an article in the works about Charley Boswell. Next, I have a few more rabbis. --MacroAlan 06:50, 14 October 2007 (PDT)

  • No problem, but I didn't do much. Dystopos did most of the work. And just because we touched it doesn't mean you can't come back and make more improvements. --Lkseitz 07:12, 14 October 2007 (PDT)

Megadeath

  • Wikipedia's article on "megadeath" is worth a read. I'm somewhat proud of it, myself. --Dystopos 13:05, 16 October 2007 (PDT)

Template for Reservoirs of the Coosa River

  • Lee, can you create a template for Reservoirs of the Coosa River, based on the chart at the bottom of the page of the Lake Mitchell article? I'd like it to look it a template before I add it to the Lay Lake article, plus it might tempt me to write the articles for the other reservoirs. --Wheresdib 07:10, 19 January 2008 (PST)
