Orville Ifill (born August 27, 1951) is an administrative assistant in the Jefferson County Department of Land Planning and Development Services and a former public information officer for the Jefferson County Commission.
Ifill has a bachelor's degree from Howard University. He ran unsuccessfully for the Birmingham City Council in 1985. As the County Commission's public information officer, Ifill lobbied on behalf of the county to the state legislature. In 2005 he left the county to serve as a liaison for the Storm Water Management Authority.
As a candidate in the special election to fill the Jefferson County Commission District 1 seat vacated by former County Commissioner Larry Langford, Ifill pledged to work toward accountability and openness in county business, to find ways to reduce debt without reducing needed services, and to encourage economic development with a focus on small and existing businesses.
