Chris Cummings (born c. 1969) is a political consultant and president of the Huffman neighborhood association.
Cummings has a bachelor of science in economics from Alabama State University and has been employed in the Birmingham Mayor's office and the Division of Youth Services. He was the executive director of A Journey to Manhood and hosted the program "Urban Talk" on WJLD-FM. He was also an executive assistant to Councilor Carol Duncan.
He ran as a candidate for Birmingham City Council District 1 in the 2005 and 2009 Birmingham City Council elections on a platform of economic development and integrity in government, He lost to Joel Montgomery and Lashunda Scales in those elections.
