  1. January 26: An employee at Torme's grocery store on 20th Street and 5th Avenue North, was shot during a robbery. No arrest. (report)

  1. January 10: Stacey Owens Gamble, 48 and Alexander Gamble, 49, were found shot to death in their home in Odenville. Investigators suspect it was a murder-suicide. (report)
