The Contemporary South Dance Company (CSDC) was a modern dance company that promoted contemporary dance in Birmingham. The company was founded in 2013 by William-Michael Cooper as a non-profit with a mission to educate communities in the South about the arts through dance. Its offices were located at 1422 13th Avenue South.

CDSC provided dance classes, master classes, and workshops to dancers throughout the South. They also staged professional dance performances with guest artists for communities with limited access to the arts.

Cooper moved to New York City in 2018 and the non-profit was dissolved.
