Riverwalk Village is a planned mixed-use redevelopment of the former AmSouth Bank Headquarters at Riverchase, a 2-building corporate headquarters built in 1995 on a 90-acre site for AmSouth Bank. The parcel, addressed at 2050 Parkway Office Circle off Riverchase Parkway, is part of Hoover's Riverchase Office Park in northern Shelby County.

The two buildings are connected by a bridge spanning a ravine, with views of a waterfall and man-made lake with walking trails. The complex was expanded to 170 acres in 2002 with the addition of a bank operations center on the banks of the Cahaba River to the north. The complex includes two multi-level parking decks contributing to a total of 1,500 parking spaces.

In 2023 Regions sold the North and South buildings to Healthcare Resources LLC, a development company owned by Robert Simon of Corporate Realty. His company partnered with the City of Hoover and the Hoover Healthcare Authority to redevelop the 90-acre site. The office buildings would be converted into a Riverwalk Health & Wellness Center, with housing and retail areas constructed nearby and sharing access to the lake and walking paths, and potentially linking to other recreational trails. Regions would continue to lease space in the North Building for administrative offices.

Goodwyn Mills Cawood architects worked with Earl Swensson Associates of Nashville, Tennessee on the architectural plans. Another Corporate Realty affiliate, the Home Communities Company, was also involved in the development, with Brasfield & Gorrie as contractor.

The project's application for a Certificate of Need was opposed by another group which had been working to develop a 25-bed surgical center and medical office building at Stadium Trace Village.
