The American Negro League Baseball Association is an association made up of former Negro League baseball players and supporters. The group raised funds to open a Negro Leagues Museum. It was formally incorporated by Bill Greason in May 2013.
The association proposed locating a museum in downtown Birmingham's Civil Rights District, and secured a contract on the Booker T. Washington Building at 17th Street and 3rd Avenue North. In May 2008 the group agreed to combine their efforts with a parallel project proposed by the Alabama Negro League Association under the auspices of a city-authorized board.
