Bob Sims (born c. 1957 in Chattanooga, Tennessee) is the content director for al.com. A career newspaperman, he worked as managing editor of the Winter Haven News Chief in Winter Haven, Florida before he joined the Birmingham News in 2000. He led the News online development until December 2009 when he was promoted to content director for the website the News shares with the Mobile Press-Register and Huntsville Times.

Sims is married to News reporter Katherine Bouma and has two sons with her and two from a previous marriage.
