The Falafel Café is a Mediterranean restaurant located at 401 19th Street South in the Southside Station mixed-use block near UAB Hospital. The business, which opened in 2016 in the former Sinbad spot, is owned by long-time Palestinian-American restaurateur Moses Hassan.
In addition to home-made falafel, the restaurant serves broiled chicken and lamb shawarma and kofta on pita or laffa bread, as well as lentils, rice, hummus and salads.
