Jaccari A. Hampton (born c. 1988) is a supervisor for the Birmingham Department of Public Works, overseeing refuse pick-up for the Ensley District with a staff of 60 workers.
Jaccari and his three brothers were raised by his mother, Terri, and grandmother, Amelia, who were both known for their generosity to the community. Hampton began working as a fast food cook while attending Ensley High School, soon transferring to Full Moon Bar-B-Que on Valley Avenue.
Ensley High School merged into Jackson-Olin High School for Hampton's senior year. After graduating in 2007, he completed a commercial driving course at CDL Skills & Test Training in Hoover. He began working for the Birmingham Department of Public Works in 2014 and was promoted to supervisor in 2019.
