Paine Intermediate School is located at 7600 Gadsden Highway in Trussville, directly across the street from the Amerex Corporation. The school has students living within the Trussville School System in grades 3-5. Opening in 2003, this takes its name from Ned Paine and his wife who donated the land where the school was constructed. The school was designed by McCauley Associates and built by Gary C. Wyatt General Contractor.
