Savage's Bakery & Deli is located at 2916 18th Street South in Homewood near The Curve.

Savage's was originally opened by William Savage in the Highland Plaza shopping center on Highland Avenue in Southside in 1939.

In 1947, the bakery was one of the original tennants of Mountain Brook's Crestline Heights Shopping Center at 64 Church Street.

It moved to its current location in Homewood in the 1950s. It has been owned by Van Scott since 1978.
