Highland Manor is a 15-story assisted-living apartment tower located at 2040 Highland Avenue on the corner of 21st Street South.
The building was constructed in 1961 as the 208-room Sheraton Motor Inn. When it was operated as a hotel, under the management of Mrs M. Michelli, the building boasted flexible meeting rooms on the second floor, nightly dancing in the "Cloud Room" and a penthouse restaurant, the Guv'nor's Grill. The restaurant was later called The Cloud Room and Top of 21.
Another Highland Manor Apartments, managed by Engel Realty Company, is located at 1324 11th Avenue South.
