Jefferson County Truck Growers Association

Produce farmers ("truck growers") in Jefferson County formed the Jefferson County Truck Growers Association as a non-profit corporation in 1921 to help them more easily market their produce.

The association has held farmers' markets at six successive locations over the years. Since 1956 it has been located at the Birmingham Farmers Market at 344 Finley Avenue West, Birmingham.
