The Charles Allen residence, also called the Allen-Williams House is a large house constructed in 1917 on a double lot at 917 Shades Crest Road as the family home of builder Charles Allen.

The Allen family sold the five bedroom house to the Dunns in 1933. They sold it to James and Frances Williams in 1966. Their daughter, Patricia continued to live there with her husband, Mark until 2015 when it was put on the market for $850,000.
