James Edward "J. Love" Williams Jr (born January 13, 1970) is a radio announcer and aspiring politician.

Williams is a graduate of West End High School and served with the U.S. Marine Corps in Operation Desert Storm. He has studied political science and pre-law at Lawson State Community College. He is an on-air personality, hosting a Saturday afternoon show on KISS FM (WBHK FM 98.7) and has been active in community projects and political campaigns. He founded the Pratt City Youth Athletic Association.

Williams was an unsuccessful candidate for District 9 in the 2009 Birmingham City Council election. He ran on a platform of revitalizing neighborhoods, strengthening neighborhood associations, and promoting economic development.

Williams ran again for the seat left open by Marcus Lundy in the 2017 Birmingham municipal election. He made his announcement at a fund-raising event at Carter’s Sports Bar & Grille in ACIPCO
