The Alabama School Choice and Student Opportunity Act is a state law, first passed as Act of Alabama 2015-3 and subsequently amended, which provides for the creation, operation, and public funding of privately-operated "charter schools".

Act of Alabama 2023-420, passed during the 2023 Alabama legislative session, made several changes to the law.
