1907 train accident

The 1907 train accident was a collision between a Frisco switch engine and a North Highland streetcar at 19th Street and 9th Avenue North on the afternoon of June 18, 1907. James Bailey, the electric streetcar's inexperienced motorman, failed to respond to a danger flag and entered the crossing just ahead of the switching engine.
