1st & 23rd was a piano bar located in the Fix Play Lofts building at 2300 1st Avenue North, on the northeast corner of the intersection with 23rd Street in downtown Birmingham's Loft District.

Jaymes Finley Jr opened the bar, originally called Steel 1st & 23rd or Steel Urban Lounge in 2006, with contemporary lounge furnishings and lighting. He remodeled and rebranded in early 2017, creating more of a piano bar atmosphere.

The bar closed in September 2019.
