Ahmad Austin (born 1977 in Birmingham) is a painter and art instructor at Minor Elementary School.

Austin attended the Alabama School of Fine Arts and graduated in 1995 from Huffman High School. He later attended Alabama A&M University, earning a bachelor's in art education in 2000. He was commissioned to create a mural for Smith Middle School. He is a member of the Birmingham Art Association and one of his images was used in the Random Acts of Art billboard campaign.

Austin's current series, "Jazz it Up!" is comprised of expressive and colorful images of jazz musicians at work.
