The Anchorage Restaurant is located at 2826 18th Street South in downtown Homewood. It opened in 1941 and has had only four owners since then. It is currently owned and operated by the R. T. Lee and Denton Scott families. The restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. At lunch time it serves meat with vegetable plates, sandwiches, burgers, and salads.
