The Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center (originally the Alabama Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center or ASMOC) is a medical practice founded by James Andrews and Larry Lemak in 1986. The practice was founded at HealthSouth Medical Center (now UAB HIghlands), and moved to St Vincent's Hospital in May 2005.

As part of the agreement with St Vincent's, the hospital is beginning construction on a new Musculoskeletal Institute at its Southside campus. The new facility would provide 12 operating rooms for the practice's 9 resident physicians, 5 of which were partners in the practice. The practice also trained fellows of the American Sports Medicine Institute, also founded by Andrews and Lemak.

In February 2007, Andrews and Lemak announced that they were severing their partnership amicably. Andrews and two other partners remained at St Vincents and re-opened the practice under the slightly-revised name. In November, Lemak and his son, David Lemak started an independent practice at Brookwood Hospital.
