Ans-O-Phone of Birmingham was a telephone answering service with offices at 1616 6th Avenue North. It was affiliated with the Building Service Company.
The one-story building, originally constructed in 1947 for the Painter's Union and remodeled in 1960, was sold by Milton Barnes to the Alabama Power Company for $363,000 in 2018.
