Art's Old Fashioned Barber Shop is located at 2619 Crestwood Boulevard in Irondale. It was opened in 1933 by Art and Margaret Glidwell, and has been in its current location for over 40 years. The shop was purchased by Chuck Evans in 1993, and he is one of only a few barbers in the Birmingham area who still offers a straight-razor shave.
