The restaurant, formerly known as [[Becky's Deli]], relocated from a Chevron station at 4101 [[3rd Avenue South]] in [[Avondale]] in [[2007]].
It was founded in [[2007]] by [[Becky Reese]], shortly after she sold [[Becky's Deli]] inside the Chevron station at 4101 [[3rd Avenue South]] in [[Avondale]] to gas station owner [[Sunny Ali]].
 
In [[2012]] [[Terri's Place]] took over the space briefly. As of [[2013]] it is occupied by [[University Grill]].

Becky's South was a restaurant located at 2009 University Boulevard next door to Lucy's Coffee and Tea. The restaurant specialized in made-to-order sandwiches and burgers, but also offered breakfast and lunch plates, salads and daily specials.

It was founded in 2007 by Becky Reese, shortly after she sold Becky's Deli inside the Chevron station at 4101 3rd Avenue South in Avondale to gas station owner Sunny Ali.
