Benjamin Greene (born 1920, died October 29, 2006) was a former president of the Jefferson County Citizens Coalition and commissioner of the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District.

Greene was also an employee of Alabama Power, and served as president of the neighborhood association for the Harriman Park neighborhood and the Harriman Park Civic League. Benjamin Greene Village is named in honor of his service to the housing authority.
