Birmingham Fire Station No. 18 is located at 200 Dugan Avenue and serves Pratt City and the Daniel Payne area.

Kelly Ingram worked from Station No. 18 from 1908 until he re-enlisted in the Navy in 1912.

The present station building was constructed in 1961. In 2009 Mayor Larry Langford toured the station and immediately ordered a major refurbishing of it and 30 other stations.

On April 27, 2011, a tornado that tore its way from Tuscaloosa to Fultondale damaged the station on its way through Pratt City. The firemen are currently being housed in a FEMA facility until the station can be repaired or replaced.
