Station No. 6

Birmingham Fire Station No. 6, located at 317 15th Street North, is home to the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service's Fire Prevention Bureau as well as fire dispatch, commonly known as Fire Alarm. The station was relocated from 1501 3rd Avenue North.

The original location, constructed in 1905, is the oldest Birmingham fire station still standing. It currently serves as an emergency homeless shelter and headquarters of the Firehouse Shelter.
