Visitors to the free event can hear live bands playing traditional Greek music, watch various dance groups perform, and tour the historic cathedral. Funds raised through the sale of food plates, baked goods and souvenirs is donated to Birmingham area charities. Beneficiaries have included [[Magic Moments]], the [[Bell Center]], [[The Exceptional Foundation]], [[Ronald McDonald House]], [[Firehouse Shelter]], [[Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama]], [[Pathways]], [[Family Connection]], [[The Wellhouse]], [[Jimmie Hale Mission]] and [[Greater Birmingham Ministries]].
