USL Birmingham is an announced professional soccer team which will represent Birmingham in the United Soccer League (USL) beginning with the 2019 season. The franchise, which was announced at a public event on August 8, 2018, is co-owned by Jeff Logan, James Outland and Lee Styslinger III. Birmingham Hammers co-founder Morgan Copes works as vice-president of the team.
