The Birmingham Police Department South Precinct is a patrol division of the Birmingham Police Department which is headquartered at 1320 19th Street South in Five Points South. The precinct is commanded by Captain Joe Roberts.

The precinct headquarters was formerly located in the Weaver Nelson Building at 2201 Highland Avenue, near the Elton B. Stephens Expressway.

The South Precinct patrols about 50 square miles of Southside and adjoining neighborhoods, including many of the city's busiest entertainment districts and shopping centers. The division also staffs High Intensity Community Oriented Police Patrols at the Loveman Village, Tom Brown Village, Morton Simpson Homes, and Southtown Court public housing projects.
