Brent Alan Godwin (born c. 1988) is the online editor and social engagement manager for the Birmingham Business Journal.

Godwin earned his bachelor's degree in journalism at Auburn University and wrote for the Phenix City-based Citizen of East Alabama newspaper. He moved to Birmingham to accept an internship with the Journal in May 2011 and was offered a full-time position as research director that December, compiling the paper's 2012 and 2013 "Book of Lists". He was promoted to online editor in February 2014.
