The firm was founded in 1974 by George Tobia with a cousin, and originally supplied tableware and glassware before expanding to all stages of restaurant kitchen design, equipment installation, service and supplies.

Tobia bought out his cousin in 1981. The company currently employs 60 people and takes in $30 million in annual sales, with clients in every state and US territory and in 20 countries.
