It was opened in the early 1950s by Jimmy Resha, and later owned by Nick Erben and operated, with help from his brother Joe, to at least 1970.

The restaurant specialized in burgers, barbecue, and fried chicken served with honey biscuits, and also served homemade pies. Joe Namath was a regular.
