Carpenetti's Pizzeria is located at 740 Park Avenue in Moody. Owner Frank Carpenetti opened the restaurant on August 7, 1997.

Carpenetti is a second generation Italian, as his grandfather Americus Carpenetti emigrated from Italy to New York.

The pizzeria was named "Bama's Best Pizza" in 2021 by Simply Southern TV, a contest sponsored by Alabama Fruit & Vegetable Growers Association (AFVGA) and Alabama Farmers Federation Dairy Division.
