Chris Dupont (born June 8, 1962) is a chef and the owner of Café Dupont.

A native of New Orleans, Dupont began working in restaurants in his hometown when he was 15. Dupont came to Birmingham to attend Birmingham-Southern College on a tennis scholarship. After graduating in 1985, he returned to restaurants and worked at Wynfrey Hotel, then returned to New Orleans. In the early 1990s, he decided to return to Alabama, and opened the original Café Dupont in Springville in 1994. Though the original restaurant was a success, he closed that restaurant and became chef at Arman's in 2003. In January 2004, after spending two years researching new locations for his own restaurant, he reopened Café Dupont downtown. The restaurant has won many accolades and awards and was considered a pioneering establishment in the revitalization of 20th Street North.
