City Equity Theatre is a professional theater company founded in 2006 by Jonathan Fuller and Alan Gardner. They staged their first production, David Mamet's American Buffalo in The Playhouse, a costume and prop co-op located at 1818 3rd Avenue North in the Theater District.

For their second production, "Someone Who'll Watch Over Me," the City Equity Theatre moved next door, to the Playhouse.
