The Clay-Chalkville Animal Clinic is a veterinary hospital owned by Clay's first mayor Charles Hart. It is located at 6415 Old Springville Road and treats both large and small animals.

Hart founded the clinic in the loft of his barn at Hart Farms in January 1987. He relocated to the present building on May 6, 1991.

At Christmas, Hart decorates the hospital extensively with hand-crafted light scupltures and decorations, highlighted by a large "Jesus Reigns Supreme" sign in the front gable.
