Aubrey Derrill Crowe (born October 1936 in Troy, Pike County) is a urologist and the the founder of ProAssurance, the nation's fourth-largest provider of medical liability insurance.

Crowe graduated from Troy High School in 1955 and earned his undergraduate degree at Howard College and continued with medical studies at the University of Alabama Medical College. He completed his internship and surgical residency at Lloyd Noland Hospital and a residency in urology at UAB Hospital.

As a practicing urologist, Crowe helped establish Alabama's first freestanding physician-owned outpatient surgery center, where he pioneered outpatient treatment for kidney stones. He established the Alabama Renal Stone Institute at Brookwood Medical Center, which operated the state's first lithotriper.

Crowe and his first wife, Mary Catherine, had three children. He and his current wife, Cameron, have four children. Crowe built a massive residence in Mountain Brook, which was completed in 2007.
