Dina Facklis is a writer and comedian, currently performing with the "Virgin Daiquiri" improv troupe in Chicago. For many years she was an actress and director of the national touring company of Chicago's "The Second City" theater group.

Facklis grew up in Vestavia Hills, attending Pizitz Middle School and graduating from Vestavia Hills High School before going to Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee to study drama.

After graduating in 1993, Facklis went to Chicago for an internship with the Court Theatre, a classical drama company. That position fell through and she was offered an internship as a production assistant at The Second City, starting in 1995. She worked her way up through the organization, spending time as a box office manager and member of the touring company before becoming a director, first with the "Second City Girls' Night Out" revue and now with the main US touring company.

Facklis also played the part of "Andrea", Nicolas Cage's secretary in the 2005 film The Weather Man.
