The Dinette Restaurant or Dinette Eat Shop was a full-service restaurant with two locations in Birmingham in the early 1960s, both former White House Sandwich Shops.
Restaurant No. 1 was in the former Woodlawn City Hall building at 5519 1st Avenue North in Woodlawn in the early 1960s. It was managed by Andrew Walrond, and stayed open from 5:00 AM to midnight on weeknights, to 1:00 AM on Friday nights and to 2:00 AM on Saturday nights. The Woodlawn restaurant distributed The Southern Wrestler, published by Walrond's wife, Constance.
Restaurant No. 2 was located at 1015 20th Street South and was managed by Tom Schrock.
