Edward Browning "E. B." McClain (born April 29, 1940 in Jefferson County) is an Alabama State Senator, representing District 19.

McClain received his bachelor's degree from Miles College. McClain is in his fourth term in the Senate after serving two consecutive terms in the House of Representatives. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Montevallo.

McClain is married to the former Eloise Sanders of Bessemer, and they have four children. They currently reside in Midfield.

On May 29, 2008, McClain was named in a 50-count indictment by a federal grand jury on charges of conspiracy, mail fraud money laundering and bribery involving a program receiving federal money.
