Floyd Franks, Jr (born April 5, 1984 in Vestavia Hills) is a professional soccer player for the Cleveland City Stars of the USL Second Division.

Franks is the son of All-Southeastern Conference wide-receiver Floyd Franks, Sr, who played at the University of Mississippi. He grew up in Vestavia Hills and competed in soccer and track and field for Vestavia Hills High School. As a senior he was a member of the school's state championship 4x100 relay team. He led the Rebels soccer team in scoring as a senior with 36 goals and 38 assists. He was named to the All-Metro team twice and to the All-State first team in his last year.

Franks amassed 18 goals and 15 assists in 71 matches for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As a Freshman in 2002 he started 13 of 18 games for the 49ers and was named to Conference USA's All-Freshman Team. As a senior he scored 5 goals and added two assists in 18 starts. He was named to the First Team All Atlantic-10 in 2005.

Franks has played in several developmental leagues before he was selected 10th overall by the Chicago Fire in the 2006 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft. He logged 151 minutes in 9 appearances with the Fire that year. He scored his first MLS goal on July 29, 2007 against Toronto FC.

On April 16, 2008 it was announced he had signed with Cleveland for the 2008 season.
